'E rate' Europe and Worldwide up to 100 gram letter stamps.
All non-value indicated 'E' Stamps, Europe and Worldwide stamps are now worth the same value (£2.80 from 7th October 2024) regardless what weight it says on the stamp. They can all be used on letters up to 100 grams.
Royal Mail have confirmed that the 'E' stamps and Europe/Worldwide Post & Go stamps remain 100% valid for postal use. The Post & Go stamps are still physically sold in some large Post Office locations. All of these stamps now have the same value 'Letter up to 100g' regardless of what is printed on the stamps.
These stamps can be used for any European or Worldwide destination so long as your package does not weigh more than 100 grams and is not more than 5 mm thick.
They can also be used on UK internal mail at their current full face value, so great for parcels.
Most of the 'E' NVI stamps come with lick and stick gum with a few Christmas stamps having self-adhesive gum. The Post and Go all have self-adhesive gum.
The 'E' rate commemorative special stamps were first introduced for sale in June 2001 and Royal Mail stopped their production in May 2004. These stamps will get much scarcer to source as the existing stocks get gradually used up.
